To serve as custodian of all Association funds by providing accurate and current accounting records ensuring the financial integrity of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend all Board meetings.
Work directly with the BAE to ensure that funds are properly disbursed, records are kept current and reporting is done in an acceptable manner.
Report the financial position of the Association at each Board meeting.
Be the primary person to review invoices and sign all checks for disbursement of funds, ensuring that such disbursements have been approved by the Board.
Maintain custody of the corporate seal and co-sign official instruments and contracts with the President.
Make all Association books and records available for inspection as requested.
On or before October 1 of each year, deliver to the Board a proposed Operating Budget for the Association for the next calendar year.
Secretary/Treasurer shall secure Board approval for any expenditure that will result in an excess expenditure of the greater than five percent (5%) of the annual budgeted amount in any one accounting category of the Approved Operating Budget.
