The Gloria Drew Scholarship was created by BOMA/Raleigh-Durham in honor of Gloria Drew who guided many current and former members through the SMA, FMA and RPA course designations. Ms. Drew was employed at Durham Technical Community College from August 1973 through January 2003 and is currently working part time at North Carolina Central University. Over her 30 year career at Durham Tech, Gloria held the positions of Learning Laboratory Instructor, Human Resources Development Instructor, Curriculum Center Instructor, and was the Program Director for Community Services Programs.

This scholarship will be granted twice each calendar year to support the active development of a student enrolled in the SMA, FMA, or RPA course designation programs. The award is applicable towards the full cost of a local instructor lead program or the full cost of a “Self Study” course. The criteria and application process for the eligibility of this scholarship are listed below:
