PURPOSE

The purpose of the BOMA/Raleigh-Durham Education Committee is to promote the educational interests and professional development of commercial real estate property professionals. GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE


PURPOSE

The purpose of the BOMA Raleigh-Durham Government Affairs Committee is to promote the interests of the commercial real estate industry through legislative analysis, advocacy and member education. The Government Affairs Committee shall work to improve conditions relative to the ownership' and management of commercial real property, particularly where they may relate to municipal, state and federal legislative, code, judicial and regulatory actions. Through accomplishing these goals, we seek to provide a valid service and further enhance BOMA'S effectiveness and image. Through these initiatives and successfully reaching our goals, we feel we will draw other members by exposure to the community enhancing our communities effectiveness and our image - becoming better known. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE


PURPOSE

NOMINATING COMMITTEE


PURPOSE
The purpose of the BOMA/Raleigh-Durham Nominating Committee is to identify, nurture, and select future qualified leaders of the Federation whose vision and commitment embodies the Mission Statement.


The Nominating Committee will consist of all the Past Presidents of BOMA/Raleigh-Durham and be chaired by the most immediate Past President; the committee will consist of at least three (3) people. The committee will select candidates for officers and directors in accordance with the bylaws and will report their names to all members in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting (or at the meeting at which elections are held).
